Writing is the easy part. It’s getting your information out there that can be tricky. I wanted to write this post to share with you all how I grew my Pinterest traffic from around 2k views per month to over 376k views in a little over 90 days!

Blogging was something I started as a hobby. It quickly grew to a passion and I knew I had to do more than just post to my Facebook and e-mail my dad that I had a new article up. Unfortunately, I had NO IDEA what I was doing and my traffic was growing at a snail’s pace. I decided it was time to invest in myself and our blog and buy some sort of “how to”.
But which one?! There are so so so many FREE tutorials out there and just as many that you have to pay or subscribe for. It’s so easy to get lost in the sea of information. Do you use Facebook, pay for ads, Twitter your life away, Instagram or Pinterest? Will this take hours of my day? I’m a full time ER nurse and mom of a wild 1 year old. I don’t have time for that!
Pinterest Ninja – My Saving Grace
I kept seeing one particular blogger and her program pop up over and over, and continually read positive reviews from hundreds of others who had given her program a try. So… I decided to take the plunge!

The Numbers
So how much is “that much”? Over the course of 90 days our Pinterest views went from next to nothing to 375k+ views per month with 11k monthly engagement. Here are our numbers:
March 2018 NOTHING. NADA ZIP. ZERO. NO VIEWS!
April 19th – only a few days in: 13,204 monthly views BUT only 204 monthly engagements
May 1st: 85,742 monthly views with 2,142 monthly engagements – Time to focus on engagements
June 20th: 391,861 monthly views with the monthly engagements increasing to 11,351
Today: Holding steady at over 300k views per month. Engagement has increased exponentially by joining group boards as well as starting one of my own.
*This is with 100% manual pinning. Also, remember I have a full-time job and like to stay busy with our little family. I spend maybe 15 minutes a few times a day to do my pinning. Most of it has to do with the quality of pins I’ll teach you to create as well as focusing on engagements and not just views.
So how does this translate to blog views?
March 2018:
Users – 291
Page Views: 691
April 2018:
Users – 1.3k
Views – 2.6k
May 2018:
Users – 2.1k
Views – 3.4k
Ok, so even when I saw my Pinterest views increasing day after day I was still skeptical, BUT after seeing my blog traffic grow right along with it I was beyond excited. Clearly it was working, and it encouraged me to keep up with the skills Megan taught me! Sometimes I still go back and re-read a section just to make sure I’m doing the best I possibly can.
The biggest thing I encourage people to do is, “Don’t compare yourself to others. Compare your today to your yesterday.” It can be so easy to get caught up in what other bloggers are doing, where they are and what their numbers are. Focus on yourself. Focus on the quality of your posts and the quality of your marketing resources. Just like with money, make the most of the time you do have, don’t waste it, and you will be surprised that the things you can accomplish.
For me, as a part time blogger and full time mommy and nurse, these numbers were mind blowing. It was such a sign of accomplishment for the work I put in, but more so proof that programs to grow your Pinterest WORK.
